Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in regulatory programs, cloud/data platform migrations, Agile delivery, and financial/RAID management, and a proven ability to deliver complex initiatives, achieve compliance milestones, and drive cross-functional consensus across business and technology teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planning and execution of regulatory and cloud migration projects.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, manage dependencies, and coordinate change control.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and vendor/SOW tracking.
  • Lead resource planning and capacity tracking, including coordination with offshore leads.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, incremental planning, backlog health, and delivery metrics.
  • Prepare executive-ready status reports and presentations; manage stakeholder communications.
  • Track and mitigate risks and issues with RAID logs, escalations, and closure discipline.
  • Coordinate sequencing for hybrid on-prem/cloud enablement, including Azure and Databricks.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance milestones and secure data handling practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Primary skill: Product Management with demonstrated delivery in regulated environments.
  • Strong status reporting, executive presentation development, and stakeholder communications.
  • Proficiency with schedule creation/maintenance, dependency tracking, RAID logs, and change control.
  • Financial management: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and vendor/SOW oversight.
  • Resource planning and capacity tracking; collaboration with offshore teams/leads.
  • Familiarity with hybrid on-prem/cloud programs and sequencing for Azure/Databricks enablement.
  • Agile competence, including sprint ceremonies, backlog health, incremental planning, and metrics.
  • Risk management and escalation handling with decision/issue logs and closure rigor.
  • Tooling proficiency: MS Project or Planner, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Jira or Azure Boards.
  • Experience with Cloudera/Hadoop (HDFS, Spark, Hive/Impala) and Databricks (clusters, jobs, notebooks, Delta).
  • Observability practices: structured logging, metrics, tracing, and distributed debuggability.
  • Secure coding, secrets management, PII protection, and compliance considerations.
  • Documentation of frameworks and usage patterns with a collaborative work style.
  • Performance optimization concepts: partitioning, caching, broadcast joins, memory tuning.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP or Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP or CSM.
  • Experience coordinating data platform migrations and parallel cutover operations.
  • Exposure to data governance and data quality programs.
  • Familiarity with financial services regulatory reporting cycles.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or Engineering.
