Provider Enrollment Specialist
BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Provider Enrollment Specialist for an opportunity in Austin, TX 78727!
Position Title: Provider Enrollment Specialist
Location: Austin, TX 78727
Anticipated Start Date: 09/8/2025Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.
Expected Duration: 5+ months Contract
Job Type: 40 hours in a week - Remote all over TX Except Austin
Pay Range: 21/hr - 22/hrPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Requirements:Data entry and Admin candidates are required for this role Job Description:Offering Description: Interact professionally with providers and ancillary staff to provide appropriate and timely responses to inquiries and concerns regarding provider enrollment and file maintenance for Medicaid programs.Process Description:
Process to completion 100% of assigned applications and maintenance requests utilizing documented work instructions, daily and meeting minimum daily targets.
Identify deficiencies to notify providers of incomplete and inaccurate applications, revising existing deficiencies and sending corrections based on QA audits as required.
Respond to inquiries regarding the status of applications received.
May research and contact providers via phone to resolve enrollment application deficiencies.
Skills Description:
Mid to high-level computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of products
Professional with a minimum 1 year in a customer service/data entry or related experience
Would be nice to have skills:
Minimum of 6 months of experience enrolling and credentialing healthcare providers.
Detail oriented and quality focus delivering timely assessments and data entry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Function independently and use critical thinking to analyze enrollments
Self-motivated and independent while being able to accept direction with completion of tasks
Adapt to changes in strategy or approach as needed in a fast-paced, innovative environment
Willingness to learn a variety of enrollment types
Commit to ongoing learning to maintain competence in assigned tasks
Roles and responsibilities:
Adhere to the Quality Assurance program in order to improve the daily processing of applications and file maintenance transactions with a minimum quality score .
Makes recommendations to management to improve efficiency/effectiveness of current processes. Maintain strict confidentiality of information and job files as dictated by current HIPAA requirements.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed by daily production inventory requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Benefits:
