BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Network & Svcs Operations Representative- for an Onsite opportunity in Maryland!

Position Title: Network & Svcs Operations Representative

Location: Maryland (Onsite)

Expected Duration: 6+ Months with Potential Extension or can be converted to a fulltime employment.

Job Type: Contract (>%3D40 HRS WEEKLY), [CONTRACT], [HYBRID]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

• 12+ years in network operations / engineering with global or distributed environments.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, wireless, WAN, and enterprise monitoring.
• Experience with ITIL processes and configuration/change governance.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Years of experience required for each skill. > 10 years of experience in Network Routing, Switch, Wireless, LAN and Enterprise Network operations

  Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day global network operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and adherence to SOPs.
• Lead incident and problem management activities, driving timely resolution and root cause elimination.
• Oversee configuration management, network policy compliance, ACL reviews, and ITIL aligned change processes.
• Manage the lifecycle of network hardware/software, including upgrades, patches, vendor escalations, and compliance requirements (PCI/SOX).
• Serve as a primary interface for hotel leadership and IT stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, expectation management, and service transparency.
• Support new hotel openings team and network expansion, including deployments of WAN circuits, wireless systems, and hotel infrastructure
